With the Tip of My Pen

Writing has always been an intricate part of how I define myself as a human being. It's allowed me the space I need to express in words often what I have a challenge in creating or becoming in my reality. It is the place where I can openly be myself or get lost in the character whose voice speaks for the parts of me that I'm too afraid to share with the world.

Writing is as intimate as a delicate kiss to the lips and as comforting as a warm blanket on a cold day, but its fight to remain uncensored by those who have misunderstood its content evokes a danger almost too impossible to erase.

So to the aspiring writer, I say With the Tip of My Pen to tread this road cautiously because writing has to be a lover, who's never mistaken for a friend.
